We are one in the Spirit, we are one in the Lord
Two becoming one ... two the same ... two very different. It looks like a common background, but not really. One isolated and humble, the other secure and rich. Just look at the trees and foliage... one's background does not determine one's personality... as one river is free flowing and contented, the other is full of doubts, inhibitions and anxieties. Still, love is wonderful: notice the last major difficulty the uncertain one must overcome. When the two become one, God's Spirit of love is there in the reflection of light and joy dancing on the water. When the honeymoon is over, unexpected difficulties quickly arise... but even big boulders can be coped with, for the River of Love runs strong and deep.
Lord, how great thou art.
